Teach for the Philippines is a for-purpose, non-stock, non-profit organization that works to provide all Filipino children with an inclusive, relevant, and excellent education. We enlist some of the country’s most promising young leaders - called Teacher Fellows - to teach for two years in public schools throughout the Philippines. Through training and their experiences in the classroom and the community, Teach for the Philippines transforms our Teacher Fellows into lifelong advocates for education equity.
Each Teacher Fellow handles an average class size of ~50 to 60 students, a wide range of students of different grade levels through Kinder up to Senior High School, and a spectrum of learners of varying literacy and numeracy levels and, thus, varying needs.
Teach for the Philippines is the 25th official network partner of Teach For All, a growing network of over 45 independent partner organizations that work together with education Champions, their teachers, and alumni to share ideas and innovations in expanding educational opportunity across the globe.
Within our generation, all Filipino children will have access to excellent and relevant education
We identify, develop, and support…
…Teacher Fellows who positively impact the academic and life skills of their students; with a view to changing their students’ life paths.
…alumni who grow into future positions that impact policies affecting education reform.
…a network that accelerates education reform.
